The younger of the two brothers, Zaid has 12 years in finance and deep expertise across home loans and investment lending. He’s helped hundreds of clients secure finance faster and smarter, and his no-nonsense approach and strong lender relationships consistently deliver outcomes others can’t.
Outside the office, Zaid enjoys fishing, soccer, the gym, and being a dad.
Tareq Shnoudi
MANAGING DIRECTOR / HEAD OF ASSET FINANCE
Specialises in: Asset Finance & Personal Loans
The elder of the two brothers, Tareq has 12 years in finance — including four years across prestige dealer brands. He brings energy, drive and a sharp eye for the right deal, navigating a panel of 40+ lenders to secure fast approvals and competitive rates. Whether it’s your first car or expanding a fleet, Tareq gets it done.
Outside the office, Tareq trains Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, hits the gym, and loves being a dad.
Sara Ayoub
MORTGAGE BROKER
Specialises in: Property Finance
Sara is passionate about helping first home buyers and investors navigate the lending landscape. She takes the time to understand each client’s full financial picture before recommending the right loan structure, and her ability to explain complex lending in plain English (or French) has earned her a loyal client base.
Outside the office, Sara loves being a mum, real estate, and contributing to her local community.
Sarah Salem
ASSET FINANCE BROKER
Specialises in: Asset Finance & Personal Loans
Sarah is the engine room of SB Finance — her hustle and drive are what make her such a successful broker. She manages the entire client journey from first contact to settlement and beyond, making sure every application is handled accurately and every client feels looked after. Her attention to detail and warmth are why clients keep referring their friends.
Outside the office, Sarah enjoys shopping, weekend brunches, and travelling the world.
Mary Fennelly
Senior Broker Support
Specialises in: Compliance, Documentation & Lender Relations
Mary is SB Finance’s compliance backbone. With extensive experience in financial services documentation and lender requirements, she ensures every deal submitted is clean, complete and compliant. Her relationships with lender BDMs are second to none — and when a deal needs priority attention, Mary makes it happen.
Mary enjoys gardening, bushwalking and volunteering in her local community.
